Until this afternoon, just an Adams 56° sand wedge. Today, I added a Titleist DCI 60° and a Wilson Harmonized 52° to the mix... Both were used (heck, the Titleist is almost 15 years old) but in very good condition---these were clearly used a few times and sat in someone's garage for a long while.

In the bag:
FT-iQ 10° driver, FT 21° neutral 3H
T-Zoid Forged 15° 3W, MX-23 4-PW
Harmonized 52° GW, Tom Watson 56° SW, X-Forged Vintage 60° LW
White Hot XG #1 Putter, 33"

i have 3 wedges: a PW from my iron set and two vokey wedges (54,58). i really like them but i suggest you try different ones out although suggestions are always helpful.

i have 4...pw is 45, aw is 50, then a CG12 54* and a vokey 58*

In my Titleist 2014 9.5" Staff bag:

I carry three wedges (plus a PW) because I hit my driver a long way and find that I end up hitting a lot of shots inside 140 yards. For the last couple years it's been Vokey spin milled 52 (54 bent to 52), 56, and 60. My yardages are PW-135, 52-120, 56-105, 60-90. The beautiful thing about carrying so many wedges (IMO) is the ability to get creative with short iron shots and around the green.

I'm one the only person I've ever seen that plays 5 wedges. It gives me complete control from 150 yards in. I didnt feel the need for a 3 or 5 iron, which I want to hit a distance of either of those I just hit the iron ahead of it soft.

I have a Ping G10 PW, then titliest 52, 56, 60, and 64

I recently bought the 64, and I have to say its my favorite club in my bag. Literally I can make it sit with maybe one bounce on a simple 20 yard pitch shot.

I've got a AP1 PW & GW and old Cleveland 588 Gunmetal 56 and 60. The 60 is in great shape but the 56 is way past it's prime. Have been contemplating switching to Vokeys but I've got higher priorities right now.

I have a 48 Callaway Diablo Edge PW that's part of my iron set and a Cleveland CG14 52 and 56 degree. I absolutely love the Cleveland wedges. I've never played a Vokey so I can't compare, but I definitely recommend Cleveland wedges.

I recently got my first separate wedge set. TM RAC TP/black 52, 56 and 60. Loving them so far. Having an adjustment phase letting go of my PingEye2 LW...but I know once Im a little more used to them I'll do really well with them. I've already improved a great deal with the 52 and 56, which was my main reason for buying.

I carry 4 Wedges:

You really are the most shameless and gullible mouthpiece for manufacturers' marketing BS, aren't you? If you aren't parroting Titleist's advertising slogans as if they are gospel you're sprouting this nonsense. "Custom tuning ports" indeed! You are the perfect customer LOL

yea sorry about that Shorty, I do tend to sound like a commercial, I guess it comes from my investing in Titleist on the NYSE through fortunebrands.com, so when Titleist makes money, I make money, I'll try and tone it down a bit hehe

But I'm toying with the idea of switching to a 46*-52*-58*-62* set-up. Reason being that I demoed the Bridgestone J38 Pocket Cavity irons and liked them, and they come with a 46* PW and a 4 iron that's only one degree weaker than my current 3 iron. So I would potentially ditch the 3 iron, get stronger lofted wedges, and add the 62* wedge. The 62* would work well for me because I'm not a big believer in adjusting your set-up to get more loft ("opening the face"), and the 62* would let me get some nice height with an easy-to-execute normal chip or pitch for when I'm stuck short-sided.

Does anyone here have a 64° wedge?

    • I've been thinking about buying a hitting mat for home indoors use. I currently only got a small patch of some mat I bought years ago and stand on a wooden platform. It'd be nice having a mat to stand on and hit from. After some searching, I see Fiberbuilt often being praised. Not sure if I can get hold of it easily here, and buying internationally can get expensive for a mat that's already quite pricey (~$800). The Wittek Quattro is also usually favorably mentioned, and at half the price (~$400) of the Fiberbuilt. Anyone have experince with this mat? Any other suggestions?
    • It just occurred to me that the last time I was serious about golf, my woods were made of….wood! Also interestingly (to me anyway) as I shopped for “woods”, mostly on eBay, I found that all the clubs in really nice cosmetic/aesthetic shape (good finish, nice club face, good grip) were woman’s clubs. Seems they either take really good care of them or don’t use them much.    And lastly, for now anyway, I went to a range today that has Top Tracer monitors at all the stations - another “new” development that may have been around for quite a while, but this was a first for me. I found it useful although I’m sure I only scratched the surface of its capabilities.
    • Agreed. For me, the feel was introduced to get the arms moving down from the top. It wasn't necessarily a "get it in front of the hip" explanation as the correct position but more for an exaggerated feel to get rid of the earlier issue.
