Custom Order's from Scotty Cameron

Has anyone done this or have any idea how much it costs? I was think about getting one done for a friend of mine for his wedding present. Just looking for some details and first hand experience, pictures would be great as well. Thanks.

go to custom/personalize...check out the options and what they cost...less you're only buyin a headcover or something, count on it bein at least $100-150 bucks

I'm waiting for mine to be delivered this morning. The tracking says it's on the truck so hopefully my wife's home when they arrive and I can stick it in the bag for tomorrow. I had a Newport 2 Pro Platinum completely refinished, new shaft, new grip, shaftband, headcover. It cost about $175 I think, plus about $75 for postage across the otherside of the Pacific. Not a bad option for what was a really banged up club when I bought it for $100 Aussie Dollars.

Just got mine back. Ran about $200. Bonovox on right back bumper. Four leaf clover on toe. Initials on toe. (green paint fill free with putter cover) Custom shop grip THAT I LOVE! Green custom shaft band. Plus green Custom shop head cover that is pretty cool. Looks like carbon fiber.

Go to their site and play around with their menu that lets you build out and price out what you are looking for. Feel free to ask more questions I will fill in what I can from my experience. I am very happy with the results. I would say it would be a great gift for a serious golfer that you want to spend that kind of money on.

Did you guys just have your putters refinished or did you have one built custom? I am looking for at having a Napa style putter made for him with a few custom details. Im not sure if this is what they do or not, I can only seem to find info on refinishing. Thanks

I had the same question and ended up calling scotty- If you want a new custom putter they said the best way is to put in a custom order and then put it on Hold. Then order a new putter through a retailer and have that order attached to the custom job. It was not clear but I would assume a detail oriented sales person would be needed to make sure the putter order was associated with the custom job. Since you can not order a new putter directly through Scotty I think this is a better option then buying one off the rack and sending it in. Let us know what you find out!

I bought a new one, used it for a couple of weeks and then sent it in (like new). So no I did not have it refinished.

Yeah the way I would go is go buy one from a retailer. Then place the order on the Scotty website for custom work. Follow instructions, which includes shipping the putter to them and you are done.
