Currently I do not play with any frequency. A few best ball tourneys and a round or two when I can. I have two kids in H.S and both are athletes and musicians so I have no life. Back in the day I played 3-4 times a week and got it down to a strong 10. Perfect for winning Member-Guests and other club tourneys. I still play a 70's set of Staff Irons and old small headed Taylor Made driver an older Caloway 3wood and old Titlest Bulls Eye putter. I hope to get back into a regular game soon. Your fourm is great and thanks for letting me post on such a great site.

P.S - also the articles and reviews on the front page are OUTSTANDING!!

Madriver... good to have you around here. Juggling kids and a golf game is tough. I can imagine that having them in school must siphon off more time from the game but kids are worth it. My daughter is 3 and my son is 1 so I have to stay pretty close so that my wife doesn't go nuts. If we have a third it'll be nuts. I generally get at least 9 holes in a week, more lately for some beautiful reason.

Glad you enjoy the site.

A lot more people read the site than participate in the forum. Though, these forums can be read by anyone - so note the difference in wording - "read" the site versus "participate" in the forum.

Sometimes I wonder if most of the people in the forum know about the "real" site at all.

    • Day 233 (22 Dec 24) - Very late afternoon session (after watching the PNC finish - much more entertaining than the Showdown) with the 50deg, hitting nippy low flighted chips.  Really focused on foot position and keeping swing smooth.   As light was fading fast and temps were heading south of freezing, session was pretty abbreviated.
    • Tiger’s walking at the PNC and people say he’s not limping.
    • I haven't heard much of anything about it. Faux leather, sure. Biodegradable leather? No. No idea. You're a bit too new, still, to post links.
    • Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
