How many clubs do you guys carry?

I'm up to 12. Looking for something to fill in the gap between my driver and 3i. Last round I hit driver 4 times, the rest were 3i. Looking for a placement shot off the tee.

As many as the tour allows me to. 14. Not a club less. Some courses I'll carry a 5 iron and a 5 hybrid instead of the 4 iron. I can hit my 5 hybrid the same length as my 4 iron but with a different trajectory and that plays better on some courses than others.

Full 14 for me as in my sig. When I got my new irons I was toying between getting a hybrid and replacing the 3-iron but the 3-iron is such an amazing club to hit the feel and feedback is like nothing I have ever hit. Also my course is pretty short and I give it a good hit so the long irons mainly only come into play on the par 5's, hence the 4 wedges. Going from a 3-wood and 5-wood combination to a 4-wood only means I loose a bit of distance control but I can shape the TP 4-wood better than the old clubs so I can take a bit off with a cut or hit a power draw and I'm doing OK I guess.

I carry 14 because I love my wedges. I've always carried 4, and just recently, 5 wedges because I prefer taking full swing shots.

I like having choices, so I take full advantage of the 14-club limit that is afforded to me.

I've got 12 at the moment, though I just bought #12 yesterday (56* Vokey at Play It Again for $40). I'll be adding a 3 or 4 wood here soon, and probably a 60* as well.

I currently carry 13. If I continue to hit my driver better, I will drop the 12.5* 3 wood. I don't go for any par 5's in 2 so don't really need anything longer than my 3h.

So, in the near future 12.

I used to carry the full 14. BTW, I walk every round. Recently, I got into a "How light can I make my bag" kick, and in doing so, realized I had clubs in my bag I never used over the course of a round. typically the 3-5 irons. I have a 3H that I trust religiously for distances over 160. I now carry 9 clubs: Driver, 3H, 7I-9I, PW, SW, LW, Putter.

Now my bag is much lighter. :)

I'm currently trying to decide if I want 5 wedges or 4 and whether It is worth trading out the three iron to make it happen.

I'm actually at 15 right now but cutting down on one of my wedges...Might stick with 52* and 60* or possibly just stick with 56* alone.

I carry the 14 in my sig. Also, I have 3H and a LW - they never make it into my bag for a round, however, because they both chronically misbehave.

I play with 14 clubs in my bag. And I use every single one.
