I found this the most interesting photo. I always believed that you need to keep golf balls warm to get distance, odd!

They want to test them all at the same temperature. It's called a control in a scientific experiment. The control assures the results are all consistent. They likely test them at many different temperatures.

And, for those of you who don't think fitting is important:

A warmer golf ball will go farther, but like Shanks said they were likely just using them for testing.

Indeed, but if you read the article it states:

Just for fun, had to share this full fridge pic with you… isn’t it mind blowing? that’s a LOT of balls… and all at the perfect temperature for launching…

I wonder what the Sonic drink is for. Hmm......

I don't know, but that makes me think it is a fridge rather than a incubator.

The sonic drink is on its side with the lid off and the article says its an incubator.

That problem solved, I wouldn't mind hanging out in that facility for a while...

Yeah, again, it doesn't really matter

And like someone else said, the article said the balls were at the "perfect temperature for launching" and that piece of paper says "COR Cannon". Both of which seem to indicate that the balls are being kept at an optimal temperature, not just colder/warmer for testing.

Yeah, that would be my guess too. I'm assuming the USGA also has some sort of temperature set for the testing of ball COR.

Um... the cup?

It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!
