My 7 iron shot is almost straight everytime. Does it mean that my swing is on the right plane ?
Whats in my Golf Bag:
Driver: Nike Sumo 5000
5 Wood: Mizuno MP-001
Iron: Mizuno MX-950 5-PW
Wedge: Cobra FP 60 degrePutter: Odyssey 2-BallBall: Yellow balls

You can manage to hit the ball straight and still be way off plane......your body just makes lots of compensation moves. A video of your swing is the only way anyone can tell you definitively if you are on plane or not.

It means you hit your seven iron straight every time. While it could be the by product of an on plane swing, it can also be produced by really good timing as well. Only the video can tell the truth here.

It depends on what happens with your other clubs. But you should make the same basic swing with every club in the bag, even the driver. There are just little tweaks, but it's all the same swing.

A Golf Pro once told me if you got pretty good with the 7 iron, then it should be the same with all clubs. Only the ball position is different for longer clubs including the driver. My result with the driver somewhat mixed....
