Did you slice that? Looked lkike you cut across it a bit.

You are probably one of the slowest players I've ever seen. What the hell were you doing standing over your ball for like 25 seconds like that man? LOL.

You're coming way out to in, on the back swing and the down swing. If you stop it when the club head gets to waist height, the club head is almost directly above the ball. Given that arc, you then basically stand up straight and almost entirely lose your spine angle in order to pull the club head back from outside the ball. You have nice looking athletic control. Try straightening out the arc your club head takes so it's parallel with the target line instead of out to in, and maintain more of your spine angle (yes, iacas, I know all good players stand up a little bit, but not THIS much!).

You've got a good whip but are a little armsy. Try making the adjustments swinging literally at 50% and take videos of yourself and check up on it...

slow down that backswing, it's so quick! Take it back easy and build up speed as you get closer to impact.

I am no pro but will just put a few things down that I noticed with the shot.

- Lifting the club with the hands on the backswing
- no shoulder turn, this caused by the lifting.
- your weight is not forward on your follow through but on the back foot.

Something I noticed but dont change your swing on the advice of an 11 handicapper.. i'm no teaching pro.

You stand so far away from the ball.. lots of the pros bring their hands much closer to their bodies on their swing.

In the bag: I'm not a complete nike fanboy.. I just happened to pull some strings and get fitted at the oven

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
