LOL.....That happened the week of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He was searching for his lost ball and he didn't believe there were jumping Cactus in AZ.

LOL.....That happened the week of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He was searching for his lost ball and he didn't believe there were jumping Cactus in AZ.

When I lived in Phoenix, I used to bike 20-35 miles a day. I lived on South Mountain, just north of Club West GC, and I was riding just south of the 17th hole and fell into some cholla cactus. It embedded itself into the heel of my palm, and that stuff is thinner than hair, impossible to remove. Hurt like hell.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Do you know how the EMTs went about removing the thorns?
