Not much different from Tim Clark, or any other with a long putter and that style.

His putting stroke is still miles better looking than his full swing. A mix of Furyk and Moe.

It seems like Carl hitches a little at the top of his swing, and has to come over the top coming down to save it. So long as he does it every time, I guess it isn't a big deal.

It makes for a nonsensical SwingVision analysis, even by Kostis' standards.

Clearly, Carl has made his stroke work for him, and that's all that really matters. It's still hella ugly, and I would never be able to make anything trying to putt like that.

Both strokes seemed hella accurate and solid under pressure on the weekend. That's four times he's won on the PGA Tour now. I've never actually watched him before this tournament, and it seems your opinion of his game was formed long ago, so hate away.

BTW - that par 5 approach that dropped through the trees, then backed up to the pin, coulda been a two stroke swing the other way, then we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

OK, I'll take your word for it. To me, however, it looked like he was clearly shifting his weight to his right foot on his backswing.

Your weight does go back in S&T.; Your chest, arms, etc. go right, so your weight does too. It just doesn't "feel" like it as much, and it's not as dramatic... Dean's still S&T.; He's been quoted as saying he'd be selling insurance by now if it weren't for his ballstriking.

Charlie Wi is too. T4. JJ Henry had a decent week as well.

It looks to me like his first move down is over the top, then his hands and the clubs just drop basically straight down- way down- and he ends up coming at the ball from the inside.
