New irons

Well after a much needed discussion with a couple of buddies, they recommended me just trade in my irons and getting new ones because putting the shafts in would be just as much.

I am looking into getting these irons, and just give me some feedback on how they play.
1. Titleist AP1
2. Nike Split Cavity

I am really looking at the AP1's and I am going to go and hit them tomorrow and demo a 6 iron at the range.

Seeing as our HCP's are the same, I would go with the AP1 or 2. Maybe get a mixed set of 3-6 in AP1, and the rest in AP2.

More than likely I will go with the AP1's. I hit them once before and they felt really nice but I will probably hit both just for kicks, you never know the AP2's might surprise me.

My vote goes to the Split Cavity irons, forged vs cast, lower cost. While I don't care for the VR full cavity, the split cavity irons and TW blades are stellar.

I have a set of Nike Split Cavity 3-PW DG stiff, they are on their way from another Edwin Watts store. I snagged them for 480.00 excluding tax with the new price ($599) and the 20%off coupon from Facebook.

I hit those, Cleveland CG 7 Tour and Black Pearl models and the AP1's and the ball flight I was getting from these was right on target where I wanted the shot to go it went there. I am very pleased!!
