Yes. Your purchased frozen lunch will last 2 weeks. Your 100 ProV1x will last more than 2 seasons.. (oh..you are in FL) maybe one season. But buying golfballs is beneficiary for others. Both get disappeared. One goes in toilet and the other goes in someone's pockets. Hope this logic soothes your worry.

yah but they're not new though.. but out of 100, at least 90 are completely playable.. there were 5 or so X-out ones.. i emailed customer service and they sent me a 6 pack of replacements.. so all good :)

Did you buy the "refurbished bucket" or the AAAA bucket? I dont want to even know what their "value bucket" balls look like.

Personally, I like Nike balls a lot better than Pro V1's.

How do you feel about frozen lunches?

I played a Nike today that was good tee to green. I 3 putted 4 of the last 5 holes though. Twice it was a nasty pin placement, once it was due to leaving my 95 foot lag putt 12 feet long, and the other one I forgot to mark and rotate the ball - I caught a glimpse of the swoosh and threw up a little bit. j/k

They're good, lol.

It's easy in general to hate on the swoosh, but I gotta give them their due - they're makiing some good stuff these days. Very underrated.

That's exactly what I was thinking as well. Too bad the VR is $450+!

All I will say is... that took balls.

Its crazy when you sit down and think about it. I live less than 2 miles from my job, so I come home and eat my $2.59 Frozen Smart Ones lunch, glass of water and maybe a little apple sauce. Costs me about $26 for two work weeks. If I go out to apple bees, or subway, or hooters, one lunch could easily be 10-15.....paying 1.50 for a glass of coke is insane.

You should have spent it all on balls. Pull off the plastic window, shred up the sleeves, add a little milk and sugar and who needs cereal?

Stretch.

    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
    • The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
    • I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
