My other set of irons (i use the 3i and 4i of them) have them as the stock shaft.

Check out where Dynamic Gold shafts fall on the shaft comparison chart on page 5 of the link below. You've referred people to Titleist.com for their information on previous topics, so you might find it interesting.

What???!!! You gotta to be kidding me. Dynamic Gold are not stock shaft by today's standard. They are heavy (about 126 g) and has a high bend point (means low trajectory). This shaft is not for every one.

Ok, i thought DG were a fairly common shaft. I guess I was wrong.

Were they more common a few years back? because it seems strange that they're custom shafts now.

Other than Ben Hogan and MacGregor blade irons, which often had their own shafts (really good ones too - the stock S Mac shaft in my driver is heaven sent), pretty much every top players iron (with steel) I demoed from ~ 1993 to 2000 had either a DG S300 or X shaft in it (or a Brunswick FM). Quite common, definitely very good although apparently very heavy, and definitely underrated.

S300 was (and is still very popular) the tour standard for a very long time. I remember them being the talk back in 91 for any serious player.

so what are your thoughts about bending? i know the TM RAC OS are made for a higher handicapper. but combined with the s300 shafts and a bend, who that help?

Obviously, there are always some minor swing changes that can be made.

At impact, from your point of view, the hands should be in line with your left foot, or in front of it.

You don't need a high speed camera to see this.

I wouldn't make those irons any stronger than they are...they are already bumped up. Basically you have a player's shaft in a game improvement club.

The DG shafts specifically have high kickpoint (AKA flexpoint) to keep the ball flight low. With swing speed in mid-90s, it's not like you're overpowering the S300 shaft. Check out DG website:
http://www.truetemper.com/golf/produ...&products;_id=2

The RAC OS is a cavity-back iron, so you would get more lift from the clubhead than from a GI or player's club. Still, the low trajectory S300 shaft should keep the ball from ballooning.

As several others have said, you likely have a swing flaw - possibly flipping.
