What would cause me to hit big blocks right (rh golfer). I have been having problems being pin high but say maybe 20-30 yards to the right of the green. I have to be making skid contact or I'm assuming that cause I'm not coming up way short all the time. It's not every shot but it's very frustrating. Thanks

A block/push is usually caused by an in to out swingplane.

could be an open clubface too, right? cause I have them problem as well sometimes, and I think I hit out to in as in most of my shots they have a slight slice spin as well.

also if its from in to out then he would also have shots that would draw

Only if they were more in-to-out than the clubface.

If his path is 5 degrees in to out and his face is 5 degrees open (both relative to the target line), then that's a straight push/block. The path HAS to be in-to-out (relative to the target) to get a push. The face has to be open, too - and close to the same amount.

When I block my shot to the right, usually I am standing too far from the ball and my timming is off my hips and shoulders are out of sync and the club face is left open at impact, also make sure that you address the ball square to the target line and your alignment is correct by dropping a club on the ground.
