I just suck right now. I came back from a vacation a week ago and I'm shooting 47, 47, 48, 48, and 50(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). I used to shoot 40,41, 43, 38, and some 39s before I was at this vacation. The vacation was a week long stay at the beach. I thought that I would improve on Thursday and Friday down to my normal scoring but I guess not. It's just weird to see my scoring jumps 8 strokes suddenly.

Is there anything that I can improve my mental mindset and my scoring? I feel like Tiger right now....

Its maybe confidence, but what caused your higher rounds?

putting, up and downs? irons plays fairways hit? if you know what needs work you can spend time to get back in the groove.

thats the way i have golfed in the second half of my golf league. i still shoot 38-41 when i golf with friends and all but more like 44-48 in league. its not like im nervous or anything i think i just get bored and turn some pars into bogeys and bogeys into double bogeys. i also know that my tempo has sped up way to fast which also goes into it.

It's probably lack of confidence, but I don't know why I am losing confidence. I do know that my putting and fairway percentage has improved. However, my green hits percentage has declined. Usually, I used to hit 6 greens every 9 holes. Now, it's 1 or 2.

How about your up and down percentage. if you miss greens and have an off day you can still score with a decent short game to help get you up and down for a one putt par or even a one putt bogie save.

Its usually working from the hole backwards to improve, so putting, chipping around the green, pitch shots within 30 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards. etc.
do you keep your putting, up and down stats per round? it a score card of what you need to work on to lower your score and handicap.
