there are really only a few types, mainly there is the one that has the bag that allows you to store about 40-50 golf balls or more. however there are also "shag tubes" which are great because it only holds about 2 dozen balls so its easy to keep track of the number of practice balls you have. the tube is also a little easier because it is taller so you don't need to bend over as much. these are the most common types. as far as brand goes you really can't go wrong in any decision you make.

I have to disagree... make sure you buy a shag bag with metal teeth... the plastic ones break.

    • I bumped off 16 today during a playing lesson. I drove it between the two bunkers on the left, chipped it to three feet, and made the putt. I birdied #15 too, so I'm now -6 the last six times I've played it. Hit another 5I to it today. Played the whites on 1, 8, and 10 so those didn't count. Pulled it left on 11 and almost chipped in. Hit a PW to 12 feet on 17 and just missed the putt. Hit my tee shot on 14 to the back of 15 tee, so no dice there. 😄 1 8 10 11 14 17
    • Day 601, June 26, 2024 Played 18 holes today. White tees mostly, but I played the blue on a few holes I needed for the birdie challenge.
    • ‘But these go to 11.’ Haha. Too much @ChetlovesMer?
    • I agree.  I think I'll trounce them at Monology tonight. ... Bwahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • I’ve never really let my kids win at anything deliberately. I mostly just played games a little bit more casually just to try to match their ability to strategize, but if they won it wasn’t because I threw the game or anything. I don’t feel like my kids need to or should win all the time. That’s not how life works, and the sooner they learn that, the better off they will be.
