It appears to focus on the hands/ grip position,... i.e. weak grip equals draw and strong grip equals slice. By rotating the hands/grip to the right side you are going to favor a draw result and if you rotate the hands/ grip to the left you will be more likely to produce a slice result.

It aint that simple. It might work if your grip is the only thing affecting your slice. Try it at the range... you don't need the wristband thingy.

To cure a slice, just quit casting and voila! poof. gone. I quit casting by fighting the urge to crush the ball when I am at the top of the backswing. At the top, I just chill out now. I try to create the urge to strike the ball when the hands are about waist high... then turn those hips and okay I will just shut up now because this is sounding stupid.

My swing is retarded. But at least I don't slice nearly as much as I used to. That was one of my major goals this year. So yay for Noggin! Now my problem is fatting the ball outta nowhere. Pure smoooth ball striking for 6-7 strokes in a row and then fatty McFat Fat comes out. It's bewildering.

could be caused from a poor/ late weight shift... make sure the transfer of weight from right side to left is first thing you do in the downswing.

Most that slice the ball do so because of a out-to-in swingpath. The club face tends to me more square or even closed to try countering the sidespin from the out-to-in swingpath. Of course you got those that push-fade too, but they will soon enough learn to close the clubface.

If someone gave me a golfer slicing the ball and asked me to fix it, I would primarily focus on the swingpath. You can use training aids all you want, but they will not stand against learning what the problem is and how to fix it. Just putting on some piece of plastic, hoping it will magically fix the problem, can be very random. You hit a good shot, then you hit a bad shot. The piece of plastic remains mute and you have no idea what just happened.

Great first post thanks for the info.  Can I turn it upside down if I hook it?

    • I agree with @dennyjones, a suspension of some meaningful duration would be better than getting bounced from the Tour. They might consider experimenting each week. It might generate a bit of interest. I like the idea of a visible shot clock. If a player and their caddy can’t decide on a strategy and pull the trigger in XX seconds (30? 45? 60?), one stroke penalty. Give each player 2 resets a round. The clock starts when the last player to hit’s ball stops moving. Other pace ideas could be used every couple events until a consensus is reached to adopt or ditch an idea.
