What golf balls do you have stashed away, probably never to see a putting green again? I don't buy balls all that often, but am willing to try a new ball from time to time. Most of what I buy tend to be the balls that spin almost as much as the Tour Balls, but cost less. My ball of choice at the moment is the Srixon Z-Star.

Over about 10 years I have accumulated, and now have stacked in the garage about a dozen or so Maxfli Tour Fire, probably a dozen Maxfli Revolution Solid, three sleeves of Srixon AD-333 (I think that is what they are called) and a dozen Slazenger Rock Distance balls I won as some door prize at a work tournament. Two sleeves of Pro V1's also may never see the light of day. My 6 year old is going golf crazy (he gets his first set of clubs for his 6th birthday on Sept 4, so he'll use some of them I suppose....

You know you have some.... What balls are you just storing?

as of about a week ago i had 475 various "pro" balls. pro v1, b330, tp black, etc etc that i had accumulated over the years. i then shipped them all to canada for a tidy bit of cash :)

The Extremes were the first box of balls that I ever purchased but never got around to using them. I've been meaning to take a sleeve out to the course but the course has been playing so hard as of late until recently. Also, have a bunch of like new premium golf balls that have been sitting in a bucket for quite a long time.

I have an old Titleist Tour 100 Balata that I putt around with every once in a while, but I don't stockpile balls. I have the second half of a double dozen of Noodles still in the box because I don't want to shove them all in my bag.

i found some spalding balls from the 60s. I think they were spalding.. or wilson? forgot. but they were old! i also found some titleist professional 100s which up until the penta used to be my favorite ball ever.

I have a bunch of Wilson Smartcores that I bought on special, before I had ever discovered a ball that I liked. Also a few sleeves of Beta Ti's that I got for christmas, a few sleeves of Top Flite XL's. Funny thing about the smartcores, you toss a golf buddy a sleeve of brand new balls, and suddenly they are buying you beers from the cart girl...bonus!

      Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.

      Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.

      Maybe there's something I still don't understand about the situation. Wouldn't Texas Tech do itself a favor to move on from Sorsby at this point?
