Lost my 8 iron...HELP!!

I played 18 at the club yesterday and must have left my 8 iron behind....found out on the third hole today when I reached for it and it was gone...... It hasn't been returned yet....and yes I know it's early but I have to prepare for the worst as I have 3 important matches/tournaments in the next 3 weeks.

I play Mizuno MP57's. My 4 and 5 iron are Mizuno MX-25's (a little more forgiveness). My choices from what I can see are:

1) Don't worry about it and just choke up on a 7 iron a bit.

2) Throw in the MX-25 8 iron I have for the time being (same loft as the mp57)

3) Roll up in the fetal position and cry my eyes out since my 8 iron was my favorite club!

I used my 8 iron more than most other clubs as I not only used it from 135-150 out but I LOVED using it for bump and runs.

HELP!!

BTW.....if you have a spare MP57 8 iron kicking around that you don't need...I'll take it...SERIOUSLY!

For now, I'd throw in the 8 iron from the MX25 set and hope that yours gets turned in. If it doesn't show up in a week or two look to ironfinder, eBay, or something like that to replace it.

Get another MP-57 8-iron off one of those club finder websites. Don't want to be missing your go to club when those matches come around. Until you get the replacement you can use your MX-25's. If someone turns in the 8-iron then now you can use one of them to practice with to your heart's content without the worries of wearing it down.

you probably used the 8 iron after a greenside chip ...... didn't you ...... maybe a great help in stopping using the 8 iron for such shots ...... I am kind of a sucker to keep on playing these shots with a 8 iron, loosing it would maybe force me to use the 58* on all shots and vary using only one club for these shots......

But like the others said, buy your self a replacement through any of these websites, and besides that I can imagine any Mizuno dealer can order a new 8i without any problem as Mizuno will for sure be able to replace your 8i MP-57 .........

Buttttttttttt ...... this might be your chance convincing the wife that you really need to buy the MP-62 or MP-68 set ........
