Wildfire started by golfer hitting rock with club

I played a twighlight round with step dad last night that caused us to quit on 18 because of dark. His tee shot on 17 with a TM driver lit up the night. Little sparks everywhere as he hit slightly fat in the low light. That was off a tee box too. But off a tee box is the only time I have seen sparks. Titanum drivers to blame.

I nearly caused a fire once by hitting my driver so hard that the ball ignited, but fortunately the ball carried far enough to burn out in flight.

Sorry, you misunderstood me totally. What I meant was that this topic came up. I am a beginner and usually hit the ground when using my irons and this is what is funny since this topic is being discussed at the same time.

It has nothing to do with me creating fires or finding fires funny.
