most are one plane or two plane?

Alright, so me and my friend were golfing the other day and he said that majority of tour players are one-plane swingers. I said that they were mainly two-plain swingers. So we made a bet. Who's right?

Most are two, if you define it as arm plane at the top different than shoulder plane.

But who knows how he was defining it or, even if using the same definition as I've supplied, what his margin for error is (i.e. is a 10° difference enough to warrant inclusion in two-plane?).

I don't know but casual observations says there are more two plane swings on the course. I believe the single plane swing requires more athletic skills than the two plane swing.

I'd say there is more two planers around on tour's, but like iacas mentions, it depends on how you define it exactly.

moe norman even had a 2 plane swing, technically. when you break it down, there's really no such thing as a ''one plane swing,'' at least i've never seen it.

Nobody uses the definition you're using. Everyone else uses the Jim Hardy definition: arm plane (roughly) matches shoulder plane at the top = one plane.
