Man I have not seen it yet, that sucks... Is there anyone on the promo that we would recognize? Someone famous? Is there a link to see the promo on the internet?

iirc, more than a dozen faces were on the promo... far more than the # of contestants we have seen in recent seasons.

Yes, there were a lot of faces. It didn't give any specifics iirc.

I see the golf channel has upgraded it's website and now you can watch all episodes of past seasons of BB. I watched this season the other week and couldn't get enough of Brian. He is just too funny to put into words. Sometimes I thought he was putting it on for the camera but then it seemed like he really believed what he was saying. "In 2 months I have built a swing that is capable of winning on tour, you tell me anyone else that can do that". Obviously he isn't talking about the PGA tour cause I haven't heard of him lately. Think I'm going to watch PEI next to get some more quotes I can use when I'm out with my mates playing "Damn, hit it too pure..."

Brian was unique.  I thought Justin from Indian Wells would challenge him for delusion of ability, but he never really did.

Careful... you are "gonna get your teeth kicked in" for even mentioning someone from outside of Texas could possible be as delusional as someone FROM Texas.

I won't go as far as saying I'm glad Justin is gone, or that I was openly rooting against him or others.  I watch for entertainment, to see them put in pressure situations, as well as mildly rooting for guys/women I DO like rather than root against those that I don't.

But Justin's ridiculous hyperbolic Texas Strut and verbal boasting really shed him in a bad light.  Was any of us surprised he would not watch his opponent play his shot, he threw clubs 40 feet when he lost, refused to acknowledge the man who beat him, shook his hand silently and would not take of his hat/sunglasses or look him in the eye?

    • I don't think anyone will really care.   It's your call.  Just be consistent.
    • I agree, until we are watching the 18th hole in the dark or waiting for the champion to finish and it's been 5+ hours
    • Question for the group. The course I normally play at has 27 holes - 3 9s that they use to for 18 in the various combinations. Is it okay to declare* if I’m playing front or back when I play 9 on this course? I’m figuring I need to declare before I play a shot. *meaning just say to myself that this is the back 9. Curious what people think. Of course, my only holes left are 13 and 17, so I’m going to declare the back 9 for the rest of the year. Probably only one or two more rounds though.
    • This is my opinion as well. I would love to see the LPGA take the lead on this.    This.
    • I agree in general. The one way in which the viewer will notice the pace of play is just that "it's been an hour and Nelly Korda or Scottie Scheffler have only played four holes." Or if for some reason they show a lot of shots of players just standing around when they could be showing golf shots. But I think Andy Johnson said it most recently/best, playing fast is a skill, too. I would love for pro golfers to play faster. You'd see the players you want to see hit more shots in the same time than they do now. So I don't disagree with the pace of play stuff, and hope they can find ways to do it. Heck, the LPGA should leap at the chance to differentiate itself in this way, IMO. So: I stand by what I said in that the TV viewer really doesn't notice much about pace of play. It's rare when they do. I support increasing the pace of play wholeheartedly. But my top five reasons don't include TV ratings or viewership.
