These are the things I'm working on:

1. This season, I've been dipping down a lot by taking deep divots, hitting behind the ball.
2. Consistent contact
3. Keep my hands in front of the ball on contact (instead of "scooping")
4. Cure my "casting" or out-to-in swing which results in either pulling way left, or a slice.
5. Basics (posture, shoulder turn, set-up)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm going to go ahead and guess that you heard "keep your chin up" at some point.... yes?

Good swing overall. Would be better if you weren't looking through your bottom eyelashes to see the ball.

LOL, that's the first thing I thought: he must have read an article "Keep Your Chin Up For More Distance".

Thanks. This video was after a few adjustments I made from watching my first video of this practice session. I was hunched over, my chin was in my chest, and my hands were far from my body. This was the result. I might've exaggerated the fixes too much, but this video was the result. I also want to get my club to stay on plane in my back swing to get rid of my casting.

Thanks for the comments!

You have the makings of a good swing. Understand what you meant about exaggerating the fixes. Now, just find some place in the midlle. Relax your arms, head and shoulders a little to get a more athletic at setup. Try to feel like a baseball outfielder, poised for action.

Are there any drills that I can do to stop my club head from flailing back causing it to point to the right of the target at the top of my swing?

I'm no "drill" expert, but you have to fix the buckling of your arms at the top of the swing. You're over-swinging by bending both arms, and you're really folding up that right arm. Try feeling like you're not swinging your arms; that you're keeping them both extended out from your shoulders like your setup position, and just turning your shoulders to make the swing. Also, try feeling like your hands are staying extended as far away from your body as possible during the backswing, and not collapsing in. When your arms swing more than your shoulders turn, the handle of the club is getting closer to you. Push it away, backward away from the target. This will stop your arms from "taking over" the backswing from your shoulders. And it should put your elbows in a better position at the top. And that should put your club in a better position at the top. And overall, it'll be a shorter swing, meaning more consistent ball contact.

Just practice making half swings to the point where you feel your left arm is fully extended and straight and your hands are as far away from your head as they can be.
