you can play organized baseball after high school. My dad plays in leagues every year for softball and baseball, well he use to. They were setup by bars or something

Not quite as competitive as high school baseball though. Those are probably the equivalent of beer league hockey.

h.s golf is in the fall, not the spring. Im not sure when highschool baseball season is though. If its spring you are good to play golf too, which is fall.

Not in New Jersey, they're both spring sports.

We always got warmup balls though, so I never had to go out cold. I thought they came with the tournament, but maybe our school payed for them :/

Great school to PAY for warmup balls but maybe their english teachers weren't PAID enough.

Just breaking balls here. Dont get offended

In the summer of 1993 I took up golf. I played as the #6 guy on our team most of the year and we won the ECL championship (Erie County League).

In 1994 I was the #3 guy most of the year. In 1995 I was the #1 guy, and I won the EDGA Junior Stroke Play . I qualified as first alternate to states.

We were undefeated in 1994, and we lost our last match in 1995. I remember getting reamed out but we'd already clinched the ECL and none of us cared. We totally goofed off the entire match.

My high school won ECL two years after I left too, for five in a row. Three had never been done, and hasn't been done since, so five is still way ahead.

I played on the varsity team for two full seasons plus a few matches my sophomore year. I think my mom clipped out most (if not all) of the local paper articles that I was mentioned in. I have some of them from the internet, too. My picture never made it in though. I'm not really photogenic. Or good looking . A picture of my downswing was in the golf section of the yearbook though. If anyone wants I can post a few links to the articles.

As for the team, when I was a junior we were 2nd in state sectionals and 3rd in states, and as a senior we were 2nd in sectionals and 8th in states. I forget what out regular season league rankings were though.

Oh, and they got my name wrong a bunch of times, too.

Did they spell your name two different ways only nine words apart like in mine? I was friends with Sarah, too.

I can't say it was nine words apart, but I can assure my name was butchered plenty.

All of the articles with my name were written by either one of my friends or a teacher that I had in middle school, too, so you'd think they would know how to spell it (or at least check Facebook ). That didn't hold them back from messing up the "i"s, "e"s, and "s"s.
