Watching Steve Marino this past weekend got me thinking about successful pro golfers with odd looking swings.  The pro golfers with weird swings do important things well but are also very talented and can succeed with their strange looking swings.

Here's some that I thought of:

Jim Furyk, Raymond Floyd, Allen Doyle, Nancy Lopez

HiBore XLS Tour 9.5*
Adams Fast10 15* 3W
A2OS 3H-7iron 60* LW
8iron Precept Tour Premium cb
9iron and 45* PW 50* GW 56* SW m565 and 455 VfoilPutter Anser Belly Putter Ball in order of preference TPblack e5 V2  AD333

I always thought Trevino's swing looks crazy/odd, and he won 6 majors.  Arnold Palmer's swing hardly looks textbook too and he won 7!

Jim Thorpe has a true hustler's swing. He must have suckered a lot of players out of their nassaus with that action back in the day.

Floyd comes to mind.  I forgot about Thorpe...watched him back in the 90s on the old Hogan Tour when he was tuning up for the Seniors.  There is hope for us all!

My vote would be Josh Broadway. Not sure where or if he is on one of the major tours. But the guy made it to the top playing cross-handed for pete's-sake. I think if I tried to hit a shot cross-handed I would dislocate my shoulder.

I've always rather looked the like of Stadlers swing.  Seems pretty simple to me.

I always like the swing of guys who can sling irons into sucker pins and hit tricky little wedge shots and make it look like they're not really trying.

Dave Barr, Craig Stadler, Bubba and Phil, Calc, etc.
