I am building another driver for myself. I am presently using for my driver shaft a AccuFlex VS339 with  a 2.8 torque and weight of 70 grams. I have an inside to outside swing pattern and at times dead pull my drives. Would switching to a higher torque shaft allow me to swing easier or harder and not pull the ball. My swing speed for the driver is in the 95 mph range. I average just under 250 yds on my drive. What would be the correct torque for a 90 - 95 swing speed.

Feedback appreciated

I'd say it might be a bit too low, maybe try a 3.5-4.5 torque if you can find something in that range and something that spins low and as far as the launch goes, thats up to you. My SS for my driver is at 105 and I am a two plane guy so I use a low torque shaft and it works great; past three drivers were all too high.

Also, your swing plane can have something to do with the amount of torque you want in a shaft. One plane guys can use a higher torque and two plane guys can benefit from a lower torque.

I am using the RIP shaft which has a torque or 2.9 and is a stiff shaft, perfect for my swing speed to load properly and for my shots to disperse nicely and not all over the place unless my swing is off big time. Go in to a place where you can try a few different shafts or drivers and take yours with you to compare your spin rates, feel, distance, launch and shot trajectory and flight patterns!
