I have just recently switched my grip from baseball style to overlap. Felt really good at first but I seem to be fading/slicing the ball now, which is really weird considering I normally draw the ball. Is this just early spring funk or is it the new adjustment in my grip. Please help. BTW I;m a righty.

You have to give it time.....it's face angle and path of the swing that creates the "crooked" shots. Very few good players use the baseball grip

I decided to change my grip this offseason from the 10-finger to the interlock and my first impression was that I wasn't getting the clubhead thru the ball therefore hitting it right more often.  The 10-finger provided me more control of the clubhead with my hands however the interlock has has forced me to turn my body more to get the clubhead thru the ball which for me, was a key factor to get me from flipping my hands at impact (that and not cupping my left wrist at the top of my backswing).  Stay patient.

Like they have said, be patient with it.  At work, take a pencil/pen and practice the overlap grip.  Get your hands used to the grip so that its automatic and you don't have to think about it.  Once your grip is second nature, you can work the rest of your swing.

Without seeing your swing, who knows what's going on?  But next time you're at the range, try hitting some shots with a stronger left hand (i.e. rotated slightly more to the right or "on top of" the club).

Great advise fellas. I agree I just need to be more patient ( not my greatest quality) but man its tough.  I'll be honest when I was out playing last weekend I found myself switch back to the old grip after another missed GIR on the sixth hole par 3. I think I'm going to hit the range with video cam an pod to check both swings. Got to be the club head position at impact is just to far open. Thanks for the help guys I'll let you know my findings this weekend. Here in Utah we just got pounded with another foot of snow but today is 60 and I'm hoping the melt will go fast.

I am a baseball grip convert as well.  Here are my observations and experiences.

1)  the 10 finger(baseball grip) is fine if your timing is on that day, if not, watch out.  Its tough to be consistent with it.  It also allows more wrist action, turning the club over, back to the timing thing.  One of the reasons i switched was to improve consistency

2) I switched to an interlocking grip, felt more secure.  There can be more hand contact on the club with interlocking as opposed to the overlap, so an interlocking might fell more natural at first.  with the ten-finger the hands can move separately, the other grips allow them to work as one, singular connection.

3) The baseball grip promotes more "small muscle" movement in your arms, hands and wrists, as opposed to the other two mentioned.  The interlocking and overlapping are more "big muscle" type movements and in the end will produce simpler, more powerful swings. think steve stricker

4) my index dropped and consistency went up since i switched.  I changed my grip, took a lesson soon after, hit a ton of balls and never looked back

5) it took about 4 months, i also changed my putter grip, but that's unrelated.

hope some of that helps
