Would you trade hitting driver for a consistent 210 dead straight off the tee?

The original premise was giving up yards for accuracy. This one is trading strokes for accuracy. Not the same thing.

I would trade hitting two more clubs from a given distance for hitting them straight virtually all the time..

Yes, I know it's not the same thing.  Earlier posts had said that this question was not very debate-able at least for lower handicappers, so I came up with a harder question to answer that is more debate-able.  As for me and the original question, there's no way I would ever give that much yardage off my driver tee shot for accuracy.  Plus, I hit my 5-iron round 210 that is dead straight anyway.

Took this advice and used driver on a couple more holes than I normally would last weekend. It seemed to work out okay as I just focused on swinging smoother and with a bit less fear and care over the results. No OB shots.

You need to work on your waggle - a low and steady waggle is the precursor to a good drive if you have the type of swing that leads to a striped 3-iron. Trust me.
