Golf shoes - play or practice, rain or shine. Golf shoes give great support and are really comfortable IMO.

In my Sun Mountain 14 Way Stand Bag:

I played the first couple years just wearing sneakers. When I finally got a pair of golf shoes my scoring average went down a bunch. It makes a difference. It's not that you're going to fall down with

Running shoes are fairly common for me during casual rounds. People think its funny, but I've never really been convinced that golf shoes help all that much.  (Wet days might be an exception)

I actually like the feel of my golf shoes better than any of my running shoes. I have to use custom insoles in my running shoes and my cheapie Nike golf shoes feel great.
