Last night I got to see Keb Mo live again, this time in a fairly small hall (1600 seats.) A great show, relaxed and homey feel, and probably the best sound mix I've ever heard. And for guitar-playing folks, there's a documentary of Danny Gatton showing on various PBS stations. It is a diminishing tournament which is a bummer. Most of the time it has to do with where they sit on the schedule but it not being one of the big ones makes it tough to get the big guys. But it is a chance for everyone else to make something happen, which is always fun to see who takes advantage. -
