2012 Masters Tickets (Online, Lottery)

I've seen a few posts and know a couple people who have applied and they've complained that the application needs your social or the last four of your social. When I applied online the other day, I wasn't asked for my social/last 4.

Anyone else been asks to supply a social when applying for tickets?

I don't think asking for the last four is too big a deal. There are still 5 other letters, which is a combination of 100,000 other possibilities. They're using it to hold fraud at bay.

I agree with you. I don't think the last four is a big deal either, but with everyone saying that they were asked (and I wasn't or can't remember that I was) it made me wonder that I had filled out the application incorrectly or something. It tells me that my app was received, so I assume I'd get some sort of error if I had left a portion out.

They were supposed to notify at the end of June. I wasn't one of the lucky few it seems.

Haven't heard anything either.  I would assume they will notify us either way.  Since it is the first online lottery I would guess there are kinks and notification will be later than expected.

I wouldn't expect them to notify those who didn't win. I could be wrong, just saying it wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.

I think the application even says if you didn't win you won't be notified

I didnt get mine either. As a matter of fact, all the guys at my country club who I told about the website also didn't get tickets.

The email that I received simply said something like "please log into the Masters website to see if you've been selected." Two guys I work with who applied never received an email and got excited that maybe they had won. When they logged into the Masters website they got the same "We regret to inform you..." message as I did.
