I really would like to try a bladed putter like phil mickelsons.  I love the design of it and think it would be the perfect putter for me with the correct insert but I dont think odyseey have released a version to the public for some reason and I dont think any other manufacturers have a similar style.

So, your point was it has to be black with an insert?

There are several flanged blade putters on the market right now, and before Ansers and T-Lines converted everyone from blades (the zebra, ray cook, and bullseye guys are breed all their own) putters like George Lowe Original, Wilson 8802 (and it's predecessor) etc were extremely popular.

I am playing an 8813 right now that I really like. Not sure when Wilson produced them but it fits my eye well.

The Original 8802 and 8813 were made when Arnold Palmer left Wilson to form his own company back in the early 60's. They re-introduced these putter in the 80's. The ones made in the 60's bring big bucks! The ones made in the 80's no so much.

I messed around with this exact putter yesterday at GolfMart for a good 30 minutes.  I fell in love with it and didn't want to leave the store.  Too bad it runs for $270.  I just don't have the cash or game to justify that kind of scratch.

I have been using a pt 82 with a super stroke 1.0 grip and its has been awesome. I putt open stance and this setup works very well for me. The feel is good and long putts are not a nightmare so there's no big trade off. I'm not only favoring this model but all heel shafted blade putters work well so give one a try and most can be had for little cost.

I have been gaming a Ray Cook Blue Goose for years.  It seems I always think I can do better and then end up right back with old reliable.  I have tried various other style putters including many a SC, but there is just something about the way the heel shafted, blades set up for me that appeals to my eyes.   It is up to the individual to find what they think works best for them, there are a ton of that style of putter out there.

Best of luck to the OP and I hope you find your gamer.
