I am in the market for a new 3 wood and 3 iron hybrid. I am currently around a 10 handicapper, but have been taking lessons and improving quite a bit. Trying to get out pretty much every day. I have a fast club speed that I'm actually trying to slow down. I hit the ball a good distance (average drive about 275), but hit the ball way to high and it drives me crazy. Anyways I am planning on buying these 2 from the preowned section at either golfsmith or globalgolf. Whats your guys suggestions for the type of golfer I am? I am looking to spend no more than about $250 for the 2 combined.

Thanks!!

Ty

I bought my Titleist 909 3 wood and 17* hybrid on ebay for total $220. They are both great clubs!!! Couldn't be happier with them. And if you are a 10 and improving you'll find them just right for your game.

Another great hybrid I have used is the 2007 Taylormade TP rescue, has a smaller head thatn the 909 hybrid and it is very workable, and you'll find it very cheap on ebay.

Hope this helps.

Would you recommend the F2 or F3?

Odds are you don't hit the ball too high.  Every scratch or Division 1 college level player I have seen hits the ball noticeably higher than everyone else.  A lot higher.

I would recomend the F2, at least that's the one I got and I think is superb. The F3 would be more of a driving FW and not as forgiving from what I understand, I have not tried it though. Hope this helps.
