I still have the TaylorMade Rossa Classic Daytona 1 that I mentioned back in post #190, but it's sitting in the basement now.

I just purchased a Never Compromise Voodoo Daddy centre shaft driver from Golf Town (Canada) for $35 bucks. I've been switching putters a lot lately trying to find something that I like but with little success. Hopefully this will be the one.

I recently switched to a classic blade putter, a Macgregor Tourney IMG5 (not the Tommy Armour version, alas). This thing is pretty great. For whatever reason the simplicity of it really works for me. Somehow it is always on line, and I have great distance control with it. Since I use an old-time "wristy" putting stroke I guess it makes sense that an old-time putter would work well for me.

has anyone on this forum ever tried to set up some sort of " group buy"

when i used to post on a ford explorer forum when i had my truck we would have group buys, someone would contact a supplier and negotiate some sort of group discount on a product, there were mufflers groupbuys, air intakes, headlight, all kinda stuff as long as they had enough people to do it

ever thought of trying to organize some sort of putter group buy or a i dunno vokey wedge group buy or something to that effect, obviously not a iron set , but something not tooooooo crazy expensive where it would be easier to get a group together

In the past three months I have bought foolishly....

1. Odyssey Sabre tooth - kept hanging up in the turf on back swing $$
2. Ping Redwood Anser - pushed everything to right $$$$
3. Ping Craze-I mallet - Much better and having relatively good luck with. $$
4. Cobra Fat Lady Swings - billion years old and free and the best of all of the above. PLUS...it was free!!

Who says the best things are not free!!!

Tools of my game:
Burner 09' Driver 10.5 Reg flex
5-pw G10's/ plus Taylormade R7 4 iron
Burner 08' 4 Hybrid
A70S 3 Hybrid Burner 09' 3 wood "Zing" SW 56 degree Fastback Laser range finder / plus Skycaddie SG5...also a great ball retriever!!

But if everyone who wanted that club bought one at the same time, who would they sell them to once the honeymoon wore off?

Golf clubs pass hands on golf forums like, well like something that gets passed around a lot, if you know what I mean.

I play the odyssey Whit Hot XG sabertooth

it is the greatest putter I have ever used. Even better than those ridiculously over priced Scotty Cameron putters.

It is the best feeling putter I have ever picked up and really I cant say anything negative about it

Right now I'm using a Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" putter, and had 27 putts in my round today.

Here's what I play:

Titleist 907 D2 10.5* UST ProForce V2 76-S | Titleist 906F4 18.5* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist 585H 21* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist ZB 4-PW TTDG S300 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 54.10 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.08 | Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" |

I have a Cameron TeI3 Santa Fe, a Studio Stainless Laguna, and a Yes Callie forged. The Yes putters do put a very true roll on the ball, but definitely get the forged model over the regular one. Camerons do appeal to the eye though.

Odyssey 2-ball putter . . . it's okay, but I am thinking of switching back to a blade-type putter, like an Anser, or Yes!.

i have 2 scotty's, a studio design 2.5 and a pro platinum newport 2 mid-slant. i gave the newport to my brother because i switched away from offset shafted putters due to the fact that it didn't feel right with my alignment. I switch between a yes! tracy II and the studio design. i love both putters and i play the scotty more often, but when i don't feel very confident in my putting stroke i switch to the yes! because it helps me to strike putts in the middle of the face

In my Hoofer Vantage

Rocco and I like the Odyssey Sabretooth. I've second guessed all of my club purchases except this one. I really like this putter (which, BTW, I bought before I saw Rocco playing with one :) ).

Scotty Cameron Studio Select with black and white paint fill! Oh and a TM center shafted Monza Corza on the days when I can't make a putt :(
