Basically, it sounds like scattered showers and storms through the weekend. Supposing the particular course isn't underwater like they are up north, you can probably get a round in. It just might not fit in a nice 3-4 hour block they way you'd hope for.

The bitch of it is that you never really know when they'll blow up, but mornings are usually more likely to be dry than afternoons.

They have no clue. The remnants of Bill are heading this way, but the track can change 20 different ways before it gets here.

If I can at least get some range time it may help ease the pain of not being able to get on the course, or it could make it worse if I'm striping them on the range I'll want to golf even more. Just having the new irons will make it frustrating not to be able to get right out there to play. To think I was a little happy that the rain would keep me off the course this week while I waited for the clubs, too bad I didn't realize just how much rain was coming.

Between rain and softball, I haven't gotten out for anything golf in two weeks.  If it does rain all weekend, least the US Open is on.

Watching golf makes me want to play golf, thinking about golf makes me want to play golf, seeing a golf ball/club makes me want to play golf, nice weather makes me want to play golf....

Come to think of it, I just always want to play golf.

If you get that desperate, there is a covered range down south of here called Rollandia. If it's raining real hard, you can go over to The Magic Castle after your done.

On the other hand some people have a particular bone to pick with the guy that owns that joint.

... Actually, We have another range that has some covered area here in Troy called Hole Hunters. Not quite as nice as Rollandia, but you can hit balls there in the rain.

Well this really blows. I kind of feel like I've been robbed with this crappy weather.

I throught @Jeremie Boop was going to keep his wet stuff up north where it belongs.

Hey, I'm not a greedy guy, I share with all my friends! On a side note, I didn't even get my new clubs. Apparently there was some mistake or problem with the order so it won't be shipped until next week.

I'm heading to Kittyhawk. This should be interesting.

Hope it goes well. I'm up here going nuts not even being able to go to the driving ranges.

    • I have been on a roll in November. Today was a 77 (69.2/115, 6,050 yards) on a wet course with dew covered bumpy greens. Better greens and I might have shaved a few more strokes off the score.
