Definitely playing today. If someone is interested I can head south. Otherwise it's the Shores for me.

I walked yesterday, so 18 was plenty. I think @mcanadiens and I are hitting Community this afternoon. I'll probably be there around 1:30.

@saevel25 @Jeremie Boop ^^^^^^

Sorry, missed this message. Spent all day doing laundry and reading people's reactions to the UFC fights Saturday.

And what a fine exhibition of golf you missed. ... Now we get to hold our breath and see how long it takes for the temperatures to be that warm again.

I dunno. I had some really nice drives. Too bad I couldn't capitalize.@mcanadiens was putting on a putting exhibition on the front. It was definitely warmer Saturday.

I think I'll try to make it out Wednesday afternoon.

Yeah. I made a putt or two on the front. Then nothing on the back. Gave up a couple of really bunnies. Guess the sarcasm I hear in my head doesn't translate in type face. The temp was actually about the same, but less sun, more humidity and bit more wind made it feel a bit rougher.

Not sure I can escape the office this week

So it's warm and very wet. I'm guessing I can mud my way through the Eagle today before the temperature crashes back toward freezing.

Played Dales today. They cut a ton of trees down. Place looks a bit barren.

I'm spending all my spare time working on my brother-in-law's house so that my mother-in-law can move in when she gets out of the hospital Thursday. I won't be playing for some time, but I have decided that I am moving to Florida.

It's only the second time I've managed in about a month and work is picking up big time. I'm actually sitting at the desk getting the fingers warmed up as I write this. More work tomorrow before "The Big Game",

As far as Florida goes, I can't blame you.

I've dropped a bunch of resumes down there the last few days. The decision is not so much about the weather than it is about the job market. There simply isn't many opportunities in IT management here, and the few that do pop up pay horribly. The weather will be a nice bonus though. ;-)

Well, if you do get set up down there, I'll definitely be willing to come down some time to visit and get some golf in. I'm hoping to go someplace new each year.

Who knows how long this will take. I put in for a job in Pompano Beach that's offering a relocation package.

I doubt I'm ever leaving here. Lousy weather or otherwise, this is home and I'm going be here for the family.

Maybe when I'm really old and everyone else is dead, I'll go south.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
