For the second time in series history, Tiger Woods will share the cover of the next edition of his video game with another golfer, and you can vote to decide who will have the honor.

Now available on the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Facebook page is a sixteen-man bracket to decide who will be featured alongside Tiger on the cover of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, scheduled to be released early next year. One side of the bracket features eight American players, one of whom will appear on the North American release of the game; the other side of the bracket will decide who appears on the European release.

First round voting is underway now; the second and third rounds will commence in the coming weeks. The golfers who fans can vote for include:

United States

Dustin Johnson

Rocco Mediate

Jim Furyk

Rickie Fowler

Bubba Watson

Zach Johnson

Hunter Mahan

Ben Crane

Europe

Luke Donald

Ross Fisher

Ian Poulter

Paul Casey

Graeme McDowell

Same here. That's a big reason I tend to avoid various Facebook promotions and the like. It's disappointing that so many marketing departments are taking such a deep dive into Facebook but... it's (apparently) what the masses want.

I did it and then deleted the app. I'm sure EA now knows everything there is to know about me, but whatever. My Facebook isn't all that interesting anyway. I'll probably buy the game, but I have to say Tiger '12 has held next to no replay value for me. I don't think I've playing it since May. It was fantastic near Masters time though.

Me too.

I played it about 10 times then never touched it again unless friends come over for drinks ( we usually play battle golf )

I have every Tiger Woods game since 2007 - collecting dust.

Id like to see Bubba on there. Hes a goofy looking character, but no doubt about it, he can play. Ive been following him for the past year and have been impressed to say the least.

From a marketing perspective I think they'd attract more non-US customers if they'd put Rory or Luke Donald on the cover with Tiger.  I'd lean towards Rory only because he's had more exposure in the press for his performance in the Majors this year.

[/quote] Bubba Watson on the packaging would really sell poorly in Europe. :-P

    • _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.
    • Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.
    • I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
    • I haven't been able to practice like I wanted and won't for the next week.  1. The weather sucks in Ohio this year. I have been mostly inside hitting foam balls. Just kind of my basic stuff.  2. I woke up last Saturday with a left side rib muscle on fire. If I turned or leaned a certain way it would spasm that almost buckled my knees. I have been taking a break to let that settle. I don't want to get a long term injury. I think I pinched a nerve or just aggravated a muscles.   3. I am going on a mini-vacation to Florida (screw you Ohio weather) with a friend, and rolling that into a work conference I have next week. I will be with out my clubs for a week.  I will be back next in two Fridays to hit the ground running with some warmer temps and better weather in Ohio, hopefully. I would really like to get more out on the course and the range.
    • Day 580 - 2026-05-04 Played eight holes. Sometimes golf kicks you in the nuts. 😉
