I think Luke finally showed yesterday why he's #1 in the world.

He entered the field as # 1 and won it like he was # 1.

I hope so.  I think Luke is and has become a much better player in the last couple of years and is now, more than ever, better armed to win a major.

The only thing that may hold him back is his driving.  His average distance isn't the longest on tour by any means but that really isn't the issue...he's not a accurate with the driver either (even though he was yesterday).  If he can get his driving percentage higher next year, watch out because he's butter with his irons (no matter what distance he has to the green).

I think he's toughened up a bit in the last year and a half (physically and mentally). I sometimes follow rounds in shot tracker and he's hitting the ball into the smart areas for all 4 rounds now. Simpson is too - hence the wins.

Greetings ... Just discovered a couple of addition errors in my previous post. I have corrected them, as shown below .... (1) Luke Donald - won twice (10 points each) and was first in both money and scoring average (20 points each) for a total of 60 points. (2) Webb Simpson - won twice (10 points each) and was second in both money and scoring average (18 points each) for a total of 56 points. (3) Nick Watney - won twice (10 points each), was 3rd in money (16 points) and 5th in scoring (12 points) for a total of 48 points. It's possible that if Watney had entered Walt Disney and won it, he could have tied or surpassed Webb Simpson. (4) Steve Stricker - won twice (10 points each), and was 3rd in scoring average (16 points) and 8th in money (6 points) for a total of 42 points. (5) Keegan Bradley - won the PGA Championship (30 points) and Byron Nelson (10 points), but was out of the Top 10 in both scoring average and money. He finished with 40 points. (6) Charl Schwartzel - won the Masters (30 points) and was 7th in Scoring (8 points) for a total of 38 points. (7) KJ Choi - won the Players (20 points), and was 4th in money (14 points) for a total of 34 points. Thanx-A-Lot and Pardon My Dead Brain Cells, Frank-0-Sport

    • Day 1: 2/26/2025: So, I'm starting over on this again.  My son brought home the mother of all flu bugs from school. It raged though our house and knocked me on my butt for about 3 days.  Now, that I think I'm clear of the death plague my son gave me. I was able to rise early this morning and get some nice mirror work in. I felt stiff like a board for the first few swings, but loosened up and was able to get at least 20 minutes of first robotic slow swings and then gradually more fluid swings.  My focus was on the timing and fluidity of my priority pieces.
    • I use a MagSafe connector on my tripod. Occasionally I use those clips.
    • Working on some swing videos. What are you guys having the best luck with as far as devices used to record the swing?  I have a tripod with a magnet that I stick my phone on but it is somewhat of a pain because I have to remove the cover on my phone and when I pull it off the magnet the tripod head changes and moves position. I was thinking something more like an ipad maybe. On a different style tripod and maybe even set it up to mirror to a tv.
