Ping G15 irons or G20

i just got fitted recently for new irons, and put a deposit on the ping g15's at the pro shop, i then noticed the g20's in a different store for a simular price. should i get my deposit back and go for the g20's instead or is there no difference at all between them that it wont matter if i have the g20 or the g15.

Hit them both, and go with the one's that sound better.

i tried both and they didn't really seem all that different the g20's went slightly higher maybe very hard to notice, 8 and 7 iron looked like they went the same distance so i cant really tell the difference, i still dont know which one to go for as that was the only difference i noticed.

Very similar heads, maybe a slightly deeper cavity with the G20's.  I think the G20's have a cleaner topline. Biggest difference is the new CFS shafts, but you can probably get them in the G15's.

All G series Pings hit/feel the same to me.

well i finally got my clubs today, ping g20 5-SW with 4Hybrid stiff shaft amazing clubs and nice feel got them for a bargain of 500 euro. :D:D

I just got back from being fitted by my local PGA for a set of G20 irons.  The pro told me my current set was 1.5" too short for me, when I got to the range to test out the 7 iron I was just stunned at how easily I hit them.  I went back to my old 7 iron (an X-22 which I wasn't fitted for) and it was like night and day.  I never realized how much I had to reach with my old set.  The trajectory with the G20s was a good bit higher and I definitely picked up some yards on the 7 iron, I'll hit it with the rangefinder when my set comes in and it gets warmer.  I can't wait until they come in, even if its too cold to go play anywhere lol

I tried out both at the 2012 St. Louis Golf Expo. Both seemed to fly well. Make sure you get the right shaft.

Last year, the Expo Ping rep pushing the G15s really emphasized selecting the right shaft. (G series heads seem to launch a bit high, so make sure your shaft choice won't balloon the ball).
