Yesterday we set a record high temp for the date at 80° F.  Tomorrow we are supposed to wake up to 6 inches of snow.  Then it's supposed to be back in the high 60's by the weekend.  Played yesterday in shorts and I'll likely play again by Monday or Tuesday.  Fall weather in Denver is so predictably unpredictable.

Wet.  Rains 5 days out of 7.  The courses are soggy as hell.  I can't remember what it's like walking on firm soil but I'll guess I'll refresh my memory with soon-to-be-frozen turf.  On the bright side, short days and no sun means a low risk of skin cancer.

Good so far.  The cold weather hasnt really hit yet and other than some frost delays in the morning the weather has still be very good.  They are still talking temps in the 60s for the next week, which is pretty good weather for Wisconsin in late October.

The local course closed this past Sunday and yesterday was the last day members could use carts for the season. We can still walk the course until the weather turns south. I'll probably get a few more holes in this season but pretty much done, too bad as the course was in excellent condition all the way up to the end.

It's getting cold in Oregon and the course is nearly empty. I pick up my grandson after school and we go out for a quick nine. This is my favorite time of year to play golf. The autumn late afternoon light is priceless.

It's been really good here outside of some rain and wind for a couple days. I hope it hangs on a little longer so I can get some nice winter rates on courses I typically wouldn't play.

Summer only showed its face for 2 months this year in the north west.  It's chilly and the rain is becoming more frequent, but at least I can still play in the winter while my buds back east shovel snow :)

Been lucky so far in PNW and plan on playing tomorrow. I have played each week so far in October, but don't expect that to last much longer.
