It's a free world we live in.  Yani should go ahead and try on the PGA Tour and when/if she fails, she'll get the reality check she needed and all will go back to normal.

Do we have quotes from here where she feels she'd be competitive on the PGA Tour? Basically, how do we know she's in need of a reality check?

Like Annika, (and very much unlike Michelle), I suspect that Yani knows she can trounce her peers on a good day, and yet has no chance to contend against the PGA Tour players. I also suspect that being a hardcore Annika Sorenstam fan, she probably wants to experience the same rush as playing outside your element agains people far better. Where else would she get that rush? People question new skiers and boarders who get off the chair on the hardest runs, and probably most of them wish they'd taken the green run instead, but some people prefer the rush of impending doom / failure.

I hear what you are saying.

You are right, I don't know if she in need of a reality check; however, she may just enter a PGA tournament and get trounced which, is an involuntary reality check, and like you said, gives her the rush she isn't currently getting considering how easy wins have been coming to her lately.  If the trouncing is VERY bad, then, I can see that ending the experiment and reverting her back to putting all her focus on the LGPA tour.

Like I said, it's a free world and she should go ahead and give it a try.  If she does, we'll see what happens.  Personally, I hope she gets out of it what she is looking for.
