Yani does not need to go through school to "earn" her way onto the tour because she has already earned her way onto the tour... Tiger Woods did not need to go to Q school because he earned his way onto the tour.  Im not comparing their abilities as players, im just curious why she HAS to go to q school to prove herself when there have been men who have made it onto the tour through sponsor exceptions? she has already proven herself by being the best on the LPGA.

Why does she HAVE to come close to winning?  I think it would be great if she stayed on the tour and had only the ability to be in the middle of the pack week in and week out (even better if she makes a top 10).  There are players who spend their whole careers in the middle of the pack so why is it bad for Yani to be in the middle of the pack?  These players are not going to be famous, but they play consistent enough to remain on the tour and that in itself is an accomplishment.  (I would love to be dominant on the PGA tour, but I would be happy just being on the tour)

If she was a real athlete there is no way she should settle for playing on the LPGA where she is dominating every week, its time to move up... no one wants to be a dominant minor leaguer, every real athlete wants to be in the majors (even if they are no longer the best).

Her game can only improve by playing on the tougher courses.  If athletes play on short wide open courses, they adjust to short wide open courses, if theyre given narrow long courses, they will just adjust.
