Rant: Newport 2...why the insert :(

Why oh why did Scotty put the insert on the Newport...and even worse why did he put the multi color dots on the back? The dots make the putter look like a kids toy.

Just my personal opinion, I am looking for an older Newport 2 BWT :)

Well, I just bought an older newport 2 this weekend :)

Long putts weren't even close, I 3 putted more greens in one round then I usually do in like 4 rounds this weekend. I couldn't make a putt to save my life with it, I see alot of practice green time in my near future.

i love the look of the newport stainless, but now that you mention it the colored circles do kinda make it look dumb. imo the best scotty ever was/is the Pro Platinum, nothin beats that one man..

If you don't like the colors of the dots or the logo then there's always the Custom Shop. You can choose the colors, add dots or a topline, even choose some funky grip color.
The only problem is it aint cheap. But neither is a Scotty Cameron.

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon

      It is a known technique, similar to the armed forces box technique. They use a 4x4 , in through the nose and out through the mouth. I use it to go to sleep fairly often. It works for me
