I just read it on NY Times and then saw your thread - funny.

I like Charlie Wi's wanderlust at Rock's swing -- sorry, lost my train of thought ... was thinking of Robert's swing...

I love Robert Rock's swing. But this is a piece about some guy's hair . There's a short paragraph at the end about his swing that feels more like an addendum or a footnote. How is a piece on follicles not, just a little unusual? Forums, small talk yes. A NYT piece?

Here it is, coming from another guy who's definitely not follicle challenged.

Just read the story. It's not so much about his hair than the fact he's a rarity in that he doesn't wear a hat.

But I agree that it was way too much discussion of lack of headgear than why he's an up & comer on tour.
