Just hit the new rocketballz and it does have some great distance.

My question is ,since i have promised myself that i will never be seen with a white club in my back, are you allowed to paint you clubs?

I guess it would change the weight of the head slightly?

If I ever bought an R11 or RBZ I would paint it immediately! Luckily, I think the RBZ products are crap, and I haven't found a reason to buy an R11S yet.

Painting it wont add enough weight to even measure it or feel it. Just lightly spray a few coats of rattle can black gloss and head out to the course.

In my Ogio bag.

Titleist 910D2 driver, Adams irons & hybrid, Callaway wedges & a Nike Method putter.

And a yellow ball.

you would not feel the weight but i guess you have changed the club but since its ok to put lead on the clubs this should be ok!

Yes, you can paint clubs. In fact, there are companies online who paint golf clubs for a business. I also know a club maker who does it.

But a white club head also has a scientific use - the white head against the black face allows you to align the club more easily than black-black.

It hurts to be close-minded in anything you do...

So there are people out there who also dislike the white.  I bought my R11 tp on launch day and I was the first to get on my course with it.  And even a couple months after I was still the only person using white stuff.  Then one day I look around and everyone on the range is using some sort of white club.  So I then go to the dark side and go with Ping i20 with a mat black finish and it is sweet.  If your going to change the color you should do it right and send it out to a local powder coater and do it up right so it will stand up to use.

funny.. I blind tested 15 different drivers during the off season a few times...and RBZ always came in the top 5 for feel, playability, distance and control.

behind the R11S and ZL Encore.... but to each his own...

Not possible.

How were they disguised?

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Obviously, he was wearing a blind fold the entire time.

    • Day 11: Worked on putting with the metronome
    • I added to total today by hopping it in on the first hole for an eagle. A short par 4, I hit 4 wood to 110. With a little breeze in my face I hit a 50 degree gap wedge to 2 feet and watched it hop into the hole for an eagle 2!
    • Sounds good. Text me if you have any questions. You have a good setup, too, and so long as you can get good camera angles… you should be good. https://skillest.com/@iacas
    • Day 14 (September 18).  Morning practice, despite questionable weather (it's raining).   Worked on chipping at first, including run-ups with UW and PW;  I've noticed lately some of my near-GIRs are missing forward, with nothing but grass ahead of me, but 20-30 yards to the pin.  After a few misadventures putting those lately, I wanted to at least get a feeling for what a 30-yard chip shot that doesn't have the variance of my quarter lob wedge would feel like.  I still think "putt when you can putt" is right, but... I am less sure I have a 30 yard putt in me.  Range time also, of course, same routine as the past week or so (drill, 3-4 slow shots, etc).   Did not get to the putting green as it was starting to come down a bit more. Darn, it really is raining.  And I thought today would be a perfect day to play, seeing as how it's 9-18 and all.
    • I'm in the same boat.  I think the last team event I got really excited for was the 2019 Presidents' Cup.  When I first got into golf, the Ryder Cup was an event (one among many) I used to plan my schedule around to make sure I'm able to watch it.   I'm not sure I realized how close it was until I saw this thread pop up.
