...the newest golfer at work and in my family.

Hello all.
I started playing about 1 month ago. I'm actually a pool player, but so far I love the challenges that golf has to offer.

I borrowed some clubs at first, but I have recently built my own setup.

I have a Callaway STS bag,
Nike CPR 3-PW irons,
Nike CPR fairway woods,
Nike CPR SW
and currently using a RAM driver and hitting Nike MOJO balls..

I plan to take some lessons soon. I visited Willie Carter this weekend. He has a shop nearby and would have been the Tiger Woods of his day, but the PGA didn't allow negro players back then. Gary Player was even one of his students.

I look forward to more golf challenges.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing on the golf clubs. Those are a great start. Anyway, welcome to The Sand Trap! You will definitely enjoy it here and learn a lot. Golf is an awesome sport... I picked up the clubs about a year ago and love the game. I'm glad to hear you made a pilgrimage to see Willie Carter. Its a pity he wasn't allowed to play the game. Have fun around here.
