In past posts, most of my graphics items have been *.JPG still frames.

I have a Swing Thoughts reply posted, but am having trouble inserting two video clips to illustrate mvmac' s point. I haven't had much experience capturing video clips for online presentations.

The clips are from Titleist Performance Institute, and are in Adobe Flash Player format. I attempted to insert the URL in our browser's Insert Image format, but i-i would not accept the URL. I then inserted as a link, but the link  opened two clicks away from the actual video, AND it displayed my TPI signon and passwork block (not good for me)..

I know this is very basic, but I'm just learning....

  • What is the relationship between Adobe Flash and YouTube formats?
  • Will our browser even handle Adobe Flash?
  • Also, is there a transfer/copyright problem because the clips come from a password-protected site?

Thanks, WUT

If the files come from a site that requires membership of any kind, you shouldn't post them.

And you can't post URLs to password-protected sites and have them work.

AND, you can't post a link to a .swf file, if that's what you meant, and have it show up here embedded, either.

    • What brand is it? Are there actually items you can't buy online? If you want the Chinese stuff. I'd look closer to home first, even if they are also made in China. Some of the Temu stuff is stupid cheap and I'm not buying it.
    • For anyone in Europe, it seems they still got grips in stock here:  Puregrips   I may just order some myself. Having used only the Pure Pros I'm tempted to order DTX.
    • Day 323: another light day. Just putted on my mat for a bit. Working on start line and a good stroke.
    • Day 143 - Made some swings working on shallow hands in the backswing, a good weight shift, and more hip turn in the downswing.
    • Day 46: Really struggled today, maybe some fatigue from a long weekend with lots of yard work, family time, and two early rounds of golf. I just could not find the ball at all with full swings. Slow, fast, super slow, medium speed, it didn't matter. I was hitting all sorts of terrible shots; chunks, shanks, tops, pulls, pushes, basically every miss was a possibility. Stopped after about 20 balls and hit the mental reset and changed course to "still head" fundamental practice while making easy swings. Hit the ball well doing this. Stuck with it for about 15 balls, and then did a little pitching and chipping practice.
