Hot damn these are looking sweet! Just arrived today, 5 days after my fitting, 5 days earlier than expected in fact. Cannot wait to get them out on the course!

Resized to 75% (was 800 x 1071) - Click image to enlarge Posted Image

9.5* Ping i20 - TFC 707 D Stiff
19* Mizuno MP-650 Hybrid - Fujikura Orochi 85
4-PW Mizuno MP-59 - DG S300, 1/2" long, 1* upright
52/56/60 Mizuno MP-R12 - Black Nickel - DG Spinner
Ping Karsten 1959 Anser X

Ogio Grom XX - Fracture

Didn't get a new 3 wood, still going to use my old Mizuno T-Zoid T3 for the moment, until I can justify spending a bit more cash!

Forgot to mention, this is my first set of new clubs in 15 years, it was about time that I treated myself to a new set of shiny sticks

Looks like you need an i20 3 wood to finish it off.

If those were my set of clubs, and I wasn't passionately in love with my old 3 wood, I would go nuts knowing that I didn't go all out and get a new 3w.

Beautiful clubs tho. You have great taste.

Strange camera effect - those look like SGI shovels in that picture, but I'm pretty sure they aren't.

It was definitely a financial decision to not get the 3-wood at the time, I hit my current one pretty well so it wasn't an essential purchase, I don't think 3-wood tech has changed THAT much.

Still, the i20 3 wood will be mine soon haha! Although I am going to demo the MP-650 fairway at the same time, I hit the hybrid so damn well it would be silly not to test it out.

I've been sick all weekend and it was going to be my first round out with them on Sunday, not happy :(

Definitely not shovels

I certainly hope so! My old irons were pretty hopeless (some weird $150 Mizuno's that don't seem to exist anywhere else apart from my bag) so this is a massive upgrade, no excuses now!

Yeah I know - check out Golfwrx.com for an editor's review. Some downright beautiful pics including all the best angles - in hand, at address, etc. Definitely not shovels.

Whenever I look at Mizuno blades online they always look like huge cavity back shovels, I know they are not but on some golf websites they don't take the most flattering angles.

Really?

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Was referring to this picture, I know they are obviously blades I just think a better angle would be showing the sole of the club a little more

MP59s are not blades.

Not even close.

I personally don't think they are super super off but that is just my personal opinion, to each his own

Not sure if you guys classify these as blades but still this picture is not much more flattering http://www.golftown.com/Mizuno-MP-69-Irons-Steel-P4281.aspx#.T8b37tW0ynk .
