I was thinking about the ping, and I have their irons and love them, but I've heard bad things about their new drivers.

It is rumoured that the g5 is actually better than the rapture.

Actually, try one of the new Cobras. It was frustrating for me at first, because I had a different driver, and then guys with Cobras - and much slower swings - would crush the ball, and blow it 40 yards past mine. Then, I got my own, it added 50 yards to my drives.

sry for the double post.. Lamebums can you actually put up with that sound? I presume you have the Speed LD Series right? Wow i cannot put up with that for 18 holes.

F/Speed, it's last year's driver. Got it barely used for only $150, so it was a runaway deal. It does make an annoying "plink" sound when you don't hit it good, but it's fine if you hit it hard and on the screws. Sound could be better, though, because I'm prone to mishitting the driver.

    • I also go with this one. Tiger was always a great lag putter. We normally remember all the clutch putts he made but I think that his strength was always speed. Don't know if stats back that up.
    • Rory McIlroy calls off divorce from Erica Stoll: 'We have resolved our differences' Nearly one month after Rory McIlroy filed for divorce from Erica Stoll, he confirmed they have reconciled after the pair "resolved our differences." Good for them, and their kid, but how does his game react to an almost divorce?
    • It just seems like his first putts are wildly off at times, like he'll blow it by like 8 feet sometimes, and I've seen him come up woefully short other times
    • He turned a corner in 2020. Doesn't help that he rarely plays tournaments anymore. He could also be putting worse partly because the rest of the game has gone downhill.
    • So they gave Tiger's group a clock warning......and now it's backed up on the Par 3.  Brilliant.
