New Features for July: Social Sharing and Multiple Image Uploader

One of the latest additions to the site is the new image uploader in threads, reviews, articles and PM's. Now when you click the image upload button, you will see a dialog with two upload options.:

When uploading images from your computer, you can now select multiple images in the same way as you can with the uploader in the image galleries.  Alternatively, you can continue using a single image URL to upload images. Once you have selected an image to upload from either your computer or an image URL, you will see the image progress bar along with your options to embed the image into your post at varying sizes:

The default embed sizes are shown above in the screen shot.

The other new feature is Social Sharing . You now have the option to share interesting threads that you're participating in with your Facebook or Twitter communities.   Here's how it works: The are 3 options for social sharing: Facebook, Twitter and email (via a mailto link which will open up your default email client).

Where do the Social Sharing buttons show up?

The choices include: threads, image pages (within the galleries), articles, and reviews.
