What are your thoughts on him? It's not a secret that this guy is playing pretty good golf (great finishes in all majors this year), but how long do you think he'll take to win a tournament again? A major?

he's one of the most personable golfers today - hard not to like the guy.     He just can't seem to hold it together for 4 straight days.     Don't consider him to be a top 10 golfer, not saying he can't win again by any means though  ...

The fact that he's has bad Sunday rounds in the last three majors has been way under the radar.

His demeanor and the way he carries himself reminds me a lot of one of my all time favorites, Raymond Floyd.  When he is on he has The Look.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Great golfer, vey watchable, good personality. I'd say he's a career two major/20 PGA wins talent. Davis Love III type career with one more major.

I agree.

He is such a good ball striker, and read somewhere that he was number 1 or 2 in driving accuracy.  I know it has been two years since Pebble, but he seems to put himself in contention in the majors lately.

Same as all above.  Obviously a really good golfer, seems like a great guy ... and he dresses really sharp too.  Every time my wife walks by when he's on the TV, she says I should get an outfit like that.

He and Tiger both could have won 2-3 majors with better play on Sunday (though Graeme more than Tiger).

Sooner or later he's bound to put together a good Sunday round and win. Now that I think of it, didn't he shoot a 74 (highest of his 4 rounds) on Sunday to win the 2010 US Open?

I wanted to buy some clothes from his new clothing line, but the Gmac section on the Kartel website appears to be down.

Yeah, but that Sunday was brutal for everyone, and he won at E for the tournament.

He wears Kartel.  Not heavily advertised... But he does have some nice clean threads.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
